Senior Manager/AVP - Downstream Manufacturing

Manage and improve downstream operations in Sabah and expansion projects in Sabah/Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the downstream manufacturing operations, to achieve proper production planning by meeting product specification and shipment timeline
• Relentlessly pursue operational efficiency
• Securing and developing the right talents to meet current commitments with an eye to future growth
• Liaison with other stakeholders e.g. local authority, Department of Occupational Safety and Health, Department of Environment and BOMBA etc.
• Manage special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management, ensuring timely completion and alignment with corporate objectives
• Contribute to the development and execution of division strategies and plans

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or its equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in the palm oil downstream manufacturing/ project related field is required
• Must be dynamic, hands-on and results-oriented with strong execution and administration management skills
• A disciplined approach, strong communication skills with an appreciation for timely and accurate reporting
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-pace environment
• Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and multitasking skills, and leadership skills, capable of inspiring and guiding a team
• Fluent in English and computer literate-Microsoft Office and good numerical skills.
• Willing to relocate or travel if necessary on projects and assignments
