Job responsibilities

  • Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects.
  • Coordinating and collaborate with the whole project team, contributing and involving to the entire project lifecycle.
  • Work collaboratively with the project manager and team to maximise the productivity and efficiency.
  • Commit to customer requirements by understanding and performing the tasks as agreed in the contract.
  • Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them on the site
  • Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
  • Organize, update, track and monitor schedules and see the datelines with the project team closely.
  • Assisting in monitoring the project budget by compiling and updating the costing promptly.
  • Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status.
  • Reviewing the engineering tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions.
  • Assisting in the project procurement such as tools, equipment and others as needed.
  • Assisting in the order inquiry, processing, payment collection and delivery as requested and quoted accordingly
  • Assisting in the data entry in the system promptly to make sure the records are accurate and updated on time
  • Involving and assisting in managing the day-to-day operations of the office by supporting the administrative works given
  • Supporting any ad-hoc tasks of the project when required
  • Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor Degree in Engineering. Degree in mechanical engineering will be encouraged.
  • Additional certifications such as project management will be an added strength.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in the industry or field. Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent Communication & Collaboration – both verbal and written.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, AutoCAD etc.
  • The ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
  • People-oriented and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
  • Keen attention to detail and an aptitude for problem solving.
  • Collaborative working style and team-player attitude.
  • Able to work independently with little supervision.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Able to thrive in a high-volume, deadline-driven work environment.
