Responsibilities:
- Monitoring of construction, procedures, workmanship, schedules and the overall job safety at site. To carry out inspection of work.
- To carry out testing to ensure compliance with specification and standard of quality as well as material used is according to contract or approved sample.
- To provide updated daily records/ report of work done, test, inspections, status of work, safety, site diary, minutes of meeting, material and equipment on site, labour, day works & provisional quantities to superior & Project manager.
- To be responsible to monitor works progress and report site issues & delays to superior & Project manager.
- To coordinate site works and all trade of Architectural works. Report promptly to Project Manager for any issue arises.
- To ensure work done according to drawings and to detect discrepancies in time to avoid abortive works. Instruct Prohibit any proceeding works should the contractor failed to comply specifications/ construction drawings/ shop drawings/ method of statement during site inspection.
- To issue site memo and NCR for any incompliance of work.
- To perform any other ‘ad hoc’ project related duties & responsibilities as assigned by Project Manager (for e.g. Involve in Vacant Possession, Verification of Defect Rectification and others)
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must possess at least a Certificate/Diploma in Architectural, Engineering, Building or equivalent with minimum 5 years site experience
- Working experience on high-rise residential commercial/residential building with multi-story basement carparks levels and landscape works is an added advantage
- Proactive in resolving site problems and familiar with CONQUAS/QLASSIC requirements.
- Ability to work independently and in a team with minimum supervision, good interpersonal skills, meticulous, confident, high analytical and problem-solving skills.
