Brahim’s Food Services Sdn Bhd (317281-X), (BFS), formerly known as LSG SkyChefs-Brahims Sdn Bhd (LSGB), is the principal inflight services provider at both the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and Penang International Airport. BFS caters to an average of 190 aircraft per day and prepares an average of 35,000 to 40,000 meals per day from its huge and highly sophisticated halal flight kitchen located in KLIA. Operating 24 hours daily with a maximum capacity of about 50,000 meals per day, BFS prides itself as a globally recognised 100% halal certified flight kitchen with a fully halal compliant integrated food logistics supply chain. Besides food, BFS also provides cabin handling services covering laundry services for pillows and blankets, filling the cabin trolley with items for in-flight sales as well as providing passenger headsets, newspapers and periodicals.

Qualifications & experience

• Candidates must possess at least a Professional Certificate minimum BO-33kV from Energy Commission of Malaysia.
• At least 5 years of working experiences as BO Chargeman.
• Aggressive and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and perform task with safety precaution.
• Applicants must be willing to work in KLIA, Sepang.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Provide technical services for Electrical field to enable safe, reliable and economical operation of Brahim’s Food Services Sdn Bhd premises in accordance to relevant authorities and company approved methods and procedures.
• Prepare and ensure that the system procedures and the Standard Operating Procedure are adhered to at all times.
• Acquire, organize and direct Maintenance personnel, equipment and services for the performance of maintenance and servicing work on Electrical in accordance with approved and agreed methods and procedure.
• To manage in-house spare part requirement based on the master plan maintenance planning for Electrical.
• Evaluate, develop and recommend modifications Electrical changes to facilities and equipment maintenance/ operation policy.
• Maintain an effective and economical administrative system in their structure and to supervise staff in accomplishment of assignment task.
• To ensure all daily checklists, work order and preventive maintenance checklist are genuinely executed and completed promptly as per schedule.
• To be responsible for the implementation and control of the safety rules and regulation set by company and government statutory department (i.e DOE, DOSH, MOH etc)
• Carried out the operation and maintenance of the High and Low Voltage controller system and Electrical protection system on schedule in the Brahim’s Food Services premises.
• Responsible to inform Energy Commissioner indirectly through Department Manager regarding any Electrical Installation, Operation which is not comply with the Regulation or it may cause any danger or accident.
