Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented Account Clerk who is proficient in Mandarin to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will handle various financial and administrative tasks while ensuring accuracy in financial record-keeping. You will assist in the day-to-day accounting functions, including processing transactions, maintaining financial records, and communicating with Mandarin-speaking clients or stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Data Entry & Transaction Recording: Input financial data into accounting software and maintain accurate financial records. Accounts Payable & Receivable: Assist in processing invoices, tracking payments, and ensuring timely collections. Bank Reconciliation: Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data. Invoice Management: Create, issue, and track invoices to clients or vendors. Financial Reports: Assist in generating monthly financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Tax Documentation: Prepare and maintain tax-related documents and ensure compliance with local tax regulations. Client & Vendor Communication: Communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients or vendors regarding account inquiries, payments, or discrepancies. Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the finance team, including filing, organizing documents, and responding to inquiries. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies. Requirements: Language Skills: Proficiency in Mandarin (both written and spoken) and English. Education: Minimum Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role is preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and MS Office (especially Excel). Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial data. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in managing Mandarin-speaking clients or vendors. Team Player: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Skills: Experience in handling multi-currency transactions. Familiarity with local tax regulations. Prior experience working with Mandarin-speaking clients or stakeholders.
