JOB SUMMARY

The HR Manager is responsible for the full spectrum of HR functions within the company, including recruitment, compensation and benefits, employee relations, training & development, talent management, office administration and other relevant HR scopes which may be required from time to time. This role also offers guidance to the HR team and ensures that HR strategies are aligned with business objectives.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the full spectrum of HR functions such as People Management, Performance Management, Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, Employee/Industrial Relations, Training and Development, Manpower Planning and Payroll.
  • Develop, review, maintain and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligning with the overall business strategy.
  • Handling industrial relations matters relating to staff discipline, grievances and counselling, domestic inquiries, employee welfare and other activities when required.
  • Ensure that all policies and procedures comply with the legislative requirement in area of responsibility and include best practice where possible.
  • Determine recruitment strategies, apply recruitment methods and manage the whole recruitment process.
  • Determine training needs, develop training plan and monitor training programs and records
  • Payroll administration, ensure payroll are processed accurately and disbursed to employees in a timely manner
  • Manage HR projects, co-ordinate with HR personnel from US/SG/CN/VN sites on HR related matters
  • Responsible for HR audits
  • Timely submission of various HR reports and manpower/payroll forecast
  • Manage expatriate/foreign workers application and relevant employment pass
  • Authorize to perform salary negotiation and job offering to candidates, including signing job offer letter and employment confirmation/extension letter.
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks/projects as and when required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource, Business Administration or related fields.
  • At least 10 year(s) of relevant working experience and 5 years in managerial position.
  • Attention to details, good leadership & interpersonal communication skills, able to interact with all levels of people.
  • Approachable and supportive to the employees whilst remaining focused on tasks and deliverables.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task whilst maintaining attention to detail.
  • A good team player with a high level of integrity and dedication.
  • Able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and works in minimal supervision.
  • Hands on experience in payroll, able to perform payroll when required.
  • Well versed in the Employment Act & Industrial Relations Act, EPF, SOCSO and Income Tax Act.
  • Those with manufacturing experience is a plus.
