Structural Design Engineer

1. Create detailed structural designs using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SAP2000, ensuring the structures can endure stress, loads, and environmental conditions. 2. Recommend and specify appropriate materials (steel, concrete, wood, etc.) to enhance the strength and durability of the structure. 3. Perform load and stress calculations to determine the weight-bearing capabilities of the structure. 4. Prepare and present technical reports, including design calculations, project timelines, and construction documentation. 5. Work closely with architects, construction managers, and other engineers to align structural designs with project goals and construction methodologies. 6. Inspect construction sites to ensure structural elements are being implemented according to design specifications and codes. 7. Ensure all designs adhere to local, national, and international building codes and safety regulations.
