Data & Analytics Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Data Architecture: Designing the blueprint for data management systems. This includes creating data models and ensuring that the architecture can handle the volume, velocity, and variety of data.
• ETL Processes: Developing and managing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to gather data from various sources, clean and transform it, and load it into data warehouses or other storage systems.
• Data Integration, API Development: Ensuring data from disparate sources is integrated effectively. Setting up and managing data pipelines that move data between systems.
• Database Management: Setting up and maintaining databases, including but not limited to relational databases (like SQL) in Azure datamarts. This involves performance tuning, indexing, and ensuring data integrity.
• Data Quality: Implementing and overseeing processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency. This can include setting up automated data validation checks and data cleansing procedures.
• Scalability and Performance: Ensuring that data systems are scalable and perform efficiently. This involves optimizing queries, managing data storage, and handling large datasets.
• Security: Implementing measures to protect data, including access controls, encryption, and compliance with data protection regulations.
• Collaboration: Working with other departments and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and ensure that the infrastructure supports their analytical and reporting requirements.
• Documentation: Creating and maintaining documentation for data systems, processes, and workflows to ensure that they are understandable and maintainable.
• Supporting any critical data issues and related helpdesk tickets
• Monitoring and Maintenance: Continuously monitoring data systems for issues, troubleshooting problems, and performing regular maintenance to keep systems running smoothly. Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
• To undertake any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s/Master Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Informatics, Engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python, API Development, SQL, Business Intelligence Tools (Power BI), Data Modelling, Transformation.
• Highly experienced in ERP system implementation and management.
• Good verbal and written communication skills. Great team player.
• Preferable domain knowledge in Property Development, Real Estate.
• At least 3-5 years of experiences in Python and API Development, Data Engineering.
