We’re hiring Sales Merchandiser

Job Responsibilities:

  • Determine call schedule by reviewing priorities with superior, discussing special instructions, product placement (planogram), product promotions, new products, and price changes.
  • Build and maintain close customer relationships by visiting and meeting up store managers and staff, ensuring they understand product features & placement to introduce/recommend to customer.
  • Maintain store shelves by observing displays of company products and their correct price tags; ensuring cleanliness and tidiness of store shelves; providing optimum display of products.
  • Maintain inventory by restocking shelves with product from backroom; recording inventory levels; prompting store management to reorder when levels appear low.
  • Assist on special promotions by setting-up displays at promotion aisle; checking promotional price tags are in place on special promotions; observing customer reaction to special promotions; forwarding observations to management; removing promotions at end of special promotion period.
  • Complete call report by observing display and pricing of competitors' products by using Company’s software.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a SPM, Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, or equivalent.
  • Experience in handling consumer healthcare products or dealing with chained pharmacies, independent pharmacies & other related stores will be an added advantage.
  • Possess own transport with a valid driving license and willing to travel.
  • Must be self-starter, resourceful, outgoing and results oriented with good sales & communication skills and strong negotiation skills.
