We are seeking a dedicated Junior Executive specializing in refrigeration maintenance to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimization of refrigeration systems across our restaurant locations. This position offers the opportunity to develop your skills and make a significant impact on our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Refrigeration Systems Maintenance:

  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, and other cooling equipment across all restaurant locations.
  • Ensure optimal performance and reliability of refrigeration systems to prevent downtime and maintain product quality.

2. System Optimization and Upgrades:

  • Assist in the evaluation and implementation of system upgrades and improvements for refrigeration equipment.
  • Support the installation of new refrigeration units or components as needed.

3. Technical Documentation:

  • Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications made to refrigeration systems.
  • Prepare detailed reports on system performance, issues encountered, and corrective actions taken.

4. Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting:

  • Analyze and resolve issues related to refrigeration systems promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to address and troubleshoot complex refrigeration problems.

5. Collaboration and Support:

  • Work closely with restaurant operations teams to ensure that refrigeration equipment is functioning optimally and address any operational concerns.
  • Provide support and guidance to restaurant staff on basic refrigeration maintenance and safety practices.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in refrigeration maintenance and repair, preferably within the food and beverage industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in diagnosing and repairing refrigeration systems and components.
  • Understanding of refrigeration principles, safety standards, and industry regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address issues efficiently.
  • High level of precision and accuracy in performing maintenance tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Must have transportation and be willing to travel to various restaurant locations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with advanced refrigeration technologies and principles.
  • Experience or coursework related to food and beverage equipment is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,100.00 per month
