Main Purpose & Major Challenges of the Role

Assist and in the absence of QA Manager, lead the QA & QC team overall development, implementation of the organization's Quality Management System. Develop and implement the Quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to support manufacturing and continually reviewing customer requirements. Maintain the compliance to internal and external standards/ policies and regulatory procedures.

Role Accountabilities

  • Responsible for FSSC, HACCP, GMP, HALAL and other certification scheme, maintenance and continuous improvement to these FSMS systems. Ensure all FSMS documentations are updated and safely kept.
  • Assist in overseeing QA & QC daily operations, including in-line checking, laboratory and incoming operations. Ensure CAR is issued when non-conformities detected, continuous follow up until the CAR is well-attended.
  • Assist in training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counselling and disciplining employees, communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring and reviewing job contributions, enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Able to multi-task and adapt to complexity. Conduct trend analysis, able to analysis and problem troubleshooting; able to provide constructive recommendation for improvement.
  • To liaise with customers on continuous quality improvement programs, customer complaint and etc.
  • Support trial runs and able to manage change well. Carry out validation study as required.
  • In the absence of QAM, authorised to make decision on incoming raw material, non-conformance product, stop production and alert management if continuous rejects are detected.
  • Carry out any other duties as requested and instructed by the superior.
  • Candidate with FSSC 22000 or GFSI experience is an advantage.
  • Willing and able to work in Semenyih, Selangor.
