Designation : Facilities & Security Assistant.

Reports to : IT & Facilities Manager or nominee

Responsibilities:

Security:

  • To direct and monitor daily operations of security personnel and to ensure security procedures & instructions are carrying out effectively and efficiently.
  • To conduct investigations and handle incidents that involve disturbances / accidents / losses / theft cases that occur in the premises. Prepare necessary incident reports and take directive from the Management.
  • To assist Facilities Manager to evaluate security personnel performance and recommend corrective action if necessary.
  • To coordinate with local authorities / agencies for the investigations within the premises.
  • To ensure security personnel display high level of integrity and courtesy when they are dealing with client and guest.
  • Facilities Assistant:

  • Responsible for the internal facility and day-to-day maintenance and operation of the buildings. e.g: minor furniture repairing, change bulb, etc.
  • Responsible on 1st level of troubleshooting and manage to Assist vendor.
  • To assist Head of department on PO preparation, price comparison and other administration jobs.
  • Able to do minor repairing such as bulb replace, and power outlet replace.
  • Covering work as a driver just in case Raffles driver are not available.
  • Possess valid driving license and familiar with routes in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore.
  • Requirements:

  • SPM or Professional Certificates in Security / Armed Forces / Protective Services or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in the related fields
  • Knowledgeable in basic security and fire inspection procedures
  • Good understanding of protocols in some areas of operation such as airports.
  • Must abide by road transport rules and regulation in Malaysia and Singapore.
  • Possess good track record and driving skills, self-motivated and with positive attitude.
  • Able to work long and flexible hours.
  • Able to communicate in basic English.
  • Courteous and pleasant personality.
  • Able to accept other tasks that being assigned by superior or Management from time to time.
