Assistant Manager, Supply Planning Our client is on the hunt for a talented Assistant Manager in Supply Planning. This role is a thrilling chance to ensure the seamless replenishment of finished goods to distributors’ warehouses according to forecast and targeted stock level.

What You'll Do

As an Assistant Manager in Supply Planning, your primary responsibility will be ensuring that products are always ready for sales and distribution. You will collaborate closely with various teams including the demand planning team, Production Centres, and 3rd Party Manufacturers. Your role will involve generating Monthly Import Plans, coordinating product launches, managing inventory levels, and enhancing planning processes. Your keen eye for detail will be crucial in monitoring stock discrepancies at distributor warehouses.

  • Plan the replenishment based on the demand plan supplied by the demand planning team
  • Generate Monthly Import Plan (MIP) calculation and submit the MIP to Production Centres and 3rd Party Manufacturers
  • Coordinate with PCs on 1st production month of Launch/Re-Launch, cut-off order, and leftover management
  • Negotiate with PCs and other country DCs to minimise high inventory and OOS issue
  • Manage VA S planning for promotions and ensure PIPO BOM components align with base NART PIPO timing
  • Monitor stock at distributor warehouses and raise issues to Logistics on incorrect report or stock discrepancy

What You Bring

The ideal candidate for the Assistant Manager in Supply Planning position brings a strong background in supply planning or production planning within the FMCG industry. With a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, you have developed strong analytical skills that allow you to make informed decisions quickly.

  • Strong background in supply planning/production planning of FMCG industry
  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 5 years of related supply or production planning experience
  • Strong analytical skill
  • Good command of the English language
  • PC Proficiency in Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and SAP
  • Outstanding relationship building skills with internal & external business partners
