Chargeman cum Technician

You will play an important role in:

• Act as an Chargeman cum Technician for LPG NGC Port Dickson.
• To fulfil on customer’s need, safety requirement in servicing and maintenance of machineries supplied.
• Ensuring the machine/ system run according to customer requirement while carry out breakdown call.
• Prepared and accountable for responding to repair calls as they arise.
• Ensure machines/systems operate according to current requirements during repair calls.
• Involved in installation and commissioning of new machines or projects.
• Coordinate materials, spare parts, and others with the Maintenance & Service Engineer team.
• Ensure safety measures are followed in accordance with LPG requirements.
• Conduct preventive maintenance according to schedule/directions from the Maintenance & Service Engineer.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to schedule/directions from the Maintenance & Service Engineer.
• Observe issues and inform the team to plan/implement maintenance work.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment’s, wiring, and lighting.
• Complete daily checklists and maintenance plant reports.
• Interpret technical diagrams and action plans.
• Perform general electrical maintenance.
• Inspect circuit breakers and other electrical components.
• Resolve electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment
• Arrangement of materials, parts and others with superior at site.
• Carry our preventive maintenance as per the schedules/ instructions from site in charge / supervisor.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate of testing devices.
• Other duties as required by Plant Manager/Team Lead and/or Management.

To succeed in this role, we will need you to be:

• Candidate must possess at least Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronic or Instrumentation.
• Candidate must possess minimum AO certification from Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga).
• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Candidate must be hands on, cooperative, hardworking, teamwork, responsible and able to work independently.
• Good knowledge of motors, MCB’s & lighting.
• Familiar with single phase and three phase wiring
• Good knowledge of various test equipment.
• Work location will be in Port Dickson or anywhere in Malaysia.
• Willing to relocate.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
• Working hours (8.5 hours/day including 1 hour rest- shift basis), 6 working days.
