About us

We are a growing SME based in Ipoh, specializing in the geological consulting and services, mineral supply, and trading industry. As part of our expansion, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team.

Qualifications & experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• At least 5 years of working experience in accounting or related roles
• Familiarity with Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, SQL, or other relevant platforms)
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in Professional English (both writing and speaking)

Tasks & responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts, including financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss reports
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with local regulations
• Monitor and manage cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts
• Handle payroll, tax submissions, and other statutory compliance matters (EPF, EIS, SOCSO)
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings and liaise with tax authorities
• Assist with audits and collaborate with external auditors and tax agents
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Lead and manage the accounts for subsidiaries companies
