Driver cum Dispatch Clerk

Driving Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles for the transportation of goods to various locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, including mileage and delivery times.
• Ensure timely pick-up and delivery of goods according to the schedule.
• Handle loading and unloading of goods, ensuring they are secured properly.

Dispatch Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the dispatch of deliveries, including route planning for efficiency.
• Communicate with staffs and clients regarding delivery schedules, updates, and any issues that may arise.
• Prepare and maintain shipping and delivery documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse for stock replenishment.
• Resolve delivery-related issues or complaints in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• 1 year or above years of driving experience, preferably in a similar role.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying items.
• Good communication skills and a professional demeanor.
