  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

OBJECTIVES:

We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team as the Lead, Customized IT Applications. This role is crucial in managing the development, implementation, maintenance, and support of tailored IT applications within our organization. This role will play a pivotal role in understanding business process requirements, ensuring seamless system integration, configuring business rules, writing and reviewing API code, testing, and supporting both in-house developed and other deployed IT applications. Additionally, this role will assist the Head, IT Application in providing timely support and managing vendors and stakeholders. Below are the key job responsibilities:

Application and Technical Support

  • Oversee daily support coordination for the Loans Administration System (LAS), troubleshoot issues, and escalate to vendors as needed.
  • Track and ensure timely resolution of issues escalated to application vendors.
  • Coordinate and deploy application fixes from UAT to Production environments.
  • Control and document program releases.
  • Perform unit testing and user acceptance testing.
  • Allocate 70% of focus on customized applications and 30% on packaged solutions.

System Monitoring and Optimization

  • Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of customized IT applications.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to boost user experience, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Ensure successful completion of End of Day (EOD) and End of Month (EOM) processes.

Data and Report Extraction

  • Facilitate data and report extractions for end users and other projects.
  • Oversee data flow integration for supported systems.

IT Project Management

  • Provide technical support and assistance on IT projects.
  • Assist project managers in delivering IT projects within agreed timelines and budgets.

IT Administration

  • Assist in coordinating and managing IT Steering Committee meetings.
  • Track and seek approval for system renewals.

Disaster Recovery (DR)

  • Participate and assist in the DR process.
  • Help plan DR strategies for implemented applications.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or Computer Science preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in application development and support.
  • Strong programming, software development, and system design skills.
  • Proficiency in SQL and PLSQL.
  • Familiarity with XML and relevant languages (XPath, XQuery, XSLT).
  • Experience in web services development (WSDL, SOAP, RESTful).
  • Experience in the financial sector is a plus.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript and Python is advantageous.
