  • Fresh graduates or candidates with experience in equipment maintenance, repair, or service operations.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Trainee Executive (Workshop), you will work closely with the Manager and team to support various operational tasks while building your knowledge and skills. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Workshop Manager in managing daily operations, including the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and trucks.
  • Supporting the coordination of workshop personnel, parts departments, suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Receive service and repair requests and help make arrangements for timely equipment service.
  • Assisting in the preparation of job costings and quotations.
  • Monitoring the progress and quality of repair works under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Helping track workshop personnel productivity and efficiency.
  • Supporting customer service by handling queries and learning how to resolve complaints.
  • Assisting in troubleshooting equipment and component problems, learning to identify effective solutions.
  • Ensuring proper storage and safe usage of tools and materials, helping to maintain a clean, tidy, and safe workshop environment.
  • Observing and supporting the training of workshop personnel, ensuring they are equipped to perform tasks effectively.
  • Assisting in ensuring compliance with workplace safety and health standards as required by the Department of Safety and Health.
  • Supporting improvement initiatives and assisting management in implementing new processes where required.
  • Performing any additional tasks as assigned by supervisors to enhance your learning and contribute to workshop operations.
