Get to know the role:

  • Manage a portfolio of key restaurants with a focus on building lasting relationships and increasing profitability/revenue. You will be responsible for maintaining existing relationships with merchants to drive growth for GrabFood. You will lead elements of business identification, partnerships, account management, and execution strategy.
  • You will report into the Commercial Specialist and hybrid working in Malaysia.

The day-to-day activities:

  • You will manage a portfolio of key accounts, with a focus on building strong, lasting relationships and increasing profitability/revenue.
  • You will liaise with merchants regarding merchant-funded promo programs, commission schemes, new products/features, and more.
  • You will resolve bottlenecks and potential issues within merchant operations and content management processes.
  • You will evaluate strategic and partnership opportunities through both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • You will analyze data and develop initiatives to boost revenue/profitability for your portfolio, making decisions that enhance operational performance.
  • You will drive the growth of key accounts, focusing on key metrics like deliveries and GMV.
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address merchant-specific needs, including customized reporting, marketing support, and system integrations.
  • You will deliver business improvement projects aimed at creating value for both merchants and GrabFood.
  • You will promote operational excellence by working closely with merchants and the operations teams.
