Unleash your Potential

We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. In this role, You will lead and manage the Software Quality Engineering team, fostering collaboration across distributed teams, while overseeing software test activities, mentoring team members, and tracking progress. The role also involves developing quality metrics, maintaining testing tools, and ensuring comprehensive test coverage, alongside reviewing documentation and executing test plans to ensure product quality.

Impact You Will Make

  • Provide strong leadership to the quality engineering team, fostering an inclusive and collaborative culture across the team and geographically distributed engineering teams
  • Directly manage Software Quality team, and overall Software test activities for new and existing product lines
  • Build, mentor and manage Software Quality engineering team
  • Track individual and team progress against goals and objectives, and evaluate performance of team members
  • Encourage continuous learning and development, driving professional growth within the team
  • Develop strategies for quality metrics in concert with engineering and report on these metrics regularly
  • Maintain existing, and develop new tooling for efficient and consistent integration and regression test coverage
  • Review requirements, specifications, product design documents, test plans, test cases, and other documentation as required
  • Creating and executing test plans, test designs and test cases and generating test reports for them

Our Ideal Candidate

  • BA degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar field
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in C++; experience in Python and SQL desirable
  • 15+ years hands on experience in software quality assurance associated with ATE or embedded software systems.
  • 5+ years’ experience being the Software QA Lead/Manager.
  • Significant experience in quality assurance processes and standard methodologies.
  • Strong technical background, proficient in test automation applying proven testing frameworks and relevant tools.
  • Thorough understanding of software quality assurance principles, practices and metrics as well as software development and testing best practices that foster high quality software.
  • Hands on experience using modern software development and quality assurance tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills a must
  • Self-motivated quick learner, able to participate both as a team member and an individual contributor
