An exciting opportunity for Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Kuantan plant. We are looking for candidate to focus on handling day to day support activities, endpoint computing, mobile devices and troubleshooting on network environment at site and working together with respective business stakeholder from Malaysia and Australia.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues, including PCs and peripherals in a networked environment.
  • Planning application system upgrades, installation of new releases, and migration to new desktop systems.
  • Ensure that desktop/laptop environment is operating efficiently, and IT queries are answered.
  • Installation of LANs and terminal devices, and document local plant configuration changes
  • Respond to support requests in a timely manner, investigate ways of improving efficiency to reduce calls and ensure updates and security patches are applied in a timely manner.

Requirements of the successful candidate:

  • Degree qualified in IT and related field with 3 years' experience in desktop support.
  • Experience in medium or large companies are an added advantage.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to confidently interact with people of all cultures at all levels.
  • Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Additional language will be an advantage.
  • Must be willing to work in Kuantan, Pahang, Malaysia.
