JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing Manager to oversee the PR and marketing strategies for two distinct fashion retail brands. This role is integral to the planning process, from product development through to go-to-market (GTM) activations.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing and Creative Officer, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in PR and marketing with a deep understanding in O2O (Online to Offline) marketing, excellent project management skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic Planning and Implementation:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and PR strategies for
      both brands.
    • Participate in the product development process, providing market insights
      to inform product design and features.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, creative services, VM and merchandising to ensure cohesive planning
      and execution.
    • Execute O2O marketing initiatives to drive customer engagement and
      sales across both digital and physical channels.
  • Campaign Management:
    • Plan and manage the implementation of multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and sales; these will cover digital marketing, social media, email marketing and in-store promotions.
    • Collaborate with Creative Services and Visual Merchandising teams to align marketing efforts with overall brand strategy and in-store experiences.
    • Working closely with outsourced performance marketing agencies to monitor and analyse campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimisation to achieve maximum ROI.
  • PR & Influencer Marketing:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with media contacts, influencers, and industry partners.
    • Coordinate and manage PR activities, including press releases, media kits, and events to enhance brand visibility and reputation. Develop influencer marketing strategies to reach and engage target audiences.
    • Monitor and analyse media coverage and public perception of the brands, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Market Research & Analytics:
    • Utilise data and insights to inform marketing strategies and decision-making.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging marketing technologies.
    • When needed, conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Budget Management:
    • Develop and manage marketing budgets for both brands, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
    • Monitor expenditures and optimise marketing spend to achieve business objectives.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor a team of marketing and PR professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
    • Provide clear direction, set performance goals, and conduct regular performance reviews.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

You are/have:

Languages: Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and verbal). Fluent in Mandarin is a plus.

Education: Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

Work Experience: Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the fashion retail industry. Proven experience in managing and leading marketing teams and
has a strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and traditional marketing channels.

Technical skills:

  • Budgeting software: You'll need to draft proposals and prepare budgets, so familiarity with budgeting and financial software like Microsoft Excel or specialised budgeting tools would be valuable.
  • Analytical tools: You’ll be required to have a strong grasp of Meta’s Business Manager, social media management platforms and Google Analytics.
