Description

1.Providing proactive, high-quality legal support and advice to the organisation in an effective and timely manner;

2. Identifying legal risks and issues in the business context and applying legally acceptable solutions;

3. Delivering work according to plan and having contingency plans to deliver required output;

4. Involved in the preparation, review and negotiation of contracts with contractors, co-ventures and Sunview in all aspects of the company’s business and operations;

5. Advising the business to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and company policies;

6. Demonstrating and applying understanding of commercial and contract law in all aspects of work;

7. Effectively managing and monitoring all litigation/disputes;

8. Communicates across functions and actively participates in the spread of knowledge, best practices and awareness of legal commitments and initiatives throughout the business;

9. Establishing and updating contract templates, and commercial letters, including training the respective users on effectively applying such templates;

10. Facilitate the external company secretaries on corporate secretarial matters; and

11. Supports the CFO by providing strategic and proactive legal advice in the management of contracts and the resolution of commercial, legal and compliance related dispute issues.

Qualifications:

Degree in Law or related field.
Have 3 years Experience and above in law roles.
Previous experience in a legal environment.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Detail-oriented and client-focused.
