Established in 2022, We are a vacation rentals company offering some top-rated luxury holiday homes in the heart of Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Malaysia. The properties are independently owned by property investors and operated under ALMA, creating a perfect blend of a home experience with local history, culture, and heritage, targeting high-end customers looking for unique homestay experiences. The selection included landmark buildings, but offering a homestay experience far different from a normal “cookie-cutter” property. The collection sought homes that possessed an element of authentic local flavour and cultural distinction to provide guests within an enriching stay.

Qualifications & experience

  • A positive, can-do attitude!
  • Candidate who is attentive to details.
  • Having prior experience as a reservation agent or similar, is advantageous.
  • You should be enthusiastic about learning, be able to work independently but very capable of participating as a team player when the need arises.
  • Able to work weekends and public holidays
  • Having strong Bahasa and English communication skills, both verbal and written, is essential.
  • Proficiently speaking in Mandarin is advantage.
  • Welcome fresh graduates, training will be provided.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and historical data to identify revenue opportunities and recommend pricing strategies.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies and tactics to optimize revenue across different market segments and distribution channels.
  • Monitor and adjust room rates, availability, and inventory to maximize revenue and occupancy.
  • Conduct regular demand forecasting and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Be conversant on the seasonality of demand and be timely in anticipating pick-up.
  • Keep abreast of events happening in the city that will directly or indirectly affect the demand for rooms.
  • Monitor and manage room inventory to ensure optimal distribution and availability on distribution channels.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with online travel agencies (OTAs).
  • Generate reports and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track revenue performance, occupancy, and market share.
  • Identify revenue trends, patterns, and potential areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to the management team to support strategic decision-making.
  • Handles all room reservations channeled through the following efficiently and courteously.
  • Ensure all reservation taken is in order and updated in the management system according to company regulation.
  • To perform any other tasks/duties from time to time as assigned by the Management.
