JOB DESCRIPTION :
- To promote & maintain a safe and healthy work place to workers, contractors and clients.
- To assist, coordinate with HOD to setting up & implementing of SOP, codes & practices, guidelines and
trainings for the safe and healthy work place/ environment for workers, visitors, contractors and client. - Liaise with the related authority agencies such as DOSH, Police, KKM, BOMBA and others in regard to health, safety matters affecting workers.
- Manage legal databases as well as yearly submission such as JKKP 8, MYKKP,CF Renewal.
- To conduct DAILY safety and health inspection at workplace.
- To ensure workers and contractors follow and comply with the safety and health procedures and instructions.
- To perform site inspection and audit (if needed).
- To conduct and identify hazard & risk assessment and noise assessment every year.
- To identify the non-conformance, unsafe acts & conditions and the corrective actions plan.
- To implement and enforce the safety & health actions plan from the procedures, audit results, risks & opportunities assessment and non-conformance assessment.
- To involve in ISO audit and client audit.
- To lead and manage any occupational accident/disease investigation and report to DOSH.
- To plan, co-ordinate, conduct and promote safety and health activities by organizing training, toolbox talks and safety & health program.
- To oversee the readiness of safety and fire equipment as well as emergency responses plan.
- To record and maintain up-to-date the documentations including HIRARC, incident reports, injury investigations, audit or inspection logs/report and complaint.
- To lead and works with the safety and health committee to resolve any issues, implement any initiatives, and promote employee participation in safety and health efforts.
- To attend client / project’s Safety and Health meetings.
- Keep up-to-date with new regulations, standards and ensure of the compliance.
- To advise and assist Project and Supervisor on all matters pertaining to safety and health at workplace and site.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with workers and client.
- To undertake any and other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the Management.
