Graduate Engineer

The Graduate Engineer will be reporting the Construction Manager and Project Manager. The Graduate Engineer will work with the project team to monitor the project's progress and development.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of project programs.
• Monitor project progress/status, chances to involved on multiple trades (need to be flexible)
• Coordinate with design consultant & contractor in assisting construction coordination works.
• Assist with the reviewing of specifications and drawings for the project according to suitable guidelines, standards.
• Assist with reviewing & approval of project documents (Request for Information, Submittal, Change Order) process.
• Manage and track project documents through use of Project Management Control System (PROCORE or similar software)
• Maintain latest “control copy of documents.” Monitor progress/status.
• Assist in the Value Engineering process to optimize design; where appropriate, seek input from construction to evaluate design alternatives, “constructability”, and subcontractor input or market information.
• Assist in the preparation of Monthly Reports
• May need to perform other project duties assigned as deem reasonable to support overall project team.

Requirements:

• Candidates possess at least bachelor's degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong in oral & written communication skills
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
• Strong computer skills and a familiar with Microsoft Office suite of programs
• Experience in using AutoCAD, and knowledge on BIM is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with 6 months internship or 1 year post graduate experience will be an added advantage.
