Job Responsibilities :
Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth by developing a network of contacts to attract new merchants / partners, researching into new market opportunities, overseeing growth projects, making sales projections and forecasting revenues.
  • To research, solicit and develop new customers (merchants & partners) and opportunities.
  • To work with HOD in outlining business strategies to improve the businesses by looking in-depth into existing customers and data etc.
  • To contact existing key clients to establish rapport and arrange regular meetings.
  • To plan and coordinate marketing initiatives with team members.
  • To increase the value of current customers (merchants & partners) through upselling while attracting new ones.
  • To develop quotes for and present proposals to clients.
  • To coordinate with leads from Tech, Ops and Support teams in addressing key customers’ requests and issues.
  • To identify gaps and propose improvement recommendations in existing business processes to increase business team productivity
Pre-Requisites :
  • Preferably with relevant experience in offering reloads & bill collection services to retails and online merchants or partners.
  • Exposure to telco, billers, FMCG & Retail industries with a minimum of 5 years working experience in business development or sales.
  • Minimum SPM, Diploma & above will be an advantage.
  • Possess own transportation with valid driving license and willing to travel (even to outstation if required).
  • Possess an aggressive attitude in achieving business development and sales target.
  • Ability to speak multi-language will be an added advantage.
