Job Description:
Job Specification
Assist the Trader in executing trades, hedging market risks and maintaining accurate trade documentation.
Assist the Trader in preparing and updating daily, weekly and monthly reports on trading exposures and P&L positions.
Register and onboard new suppliers/customers according to the latest policies and guidelines.
Collaborate with back office and operations to ensure incoming and outgoing deliveries from suppliers and to customers are fulfilled.
Main contact point for suppliers and customers that have been assigned.
Collaborate with the market research team to monitor price trends and supply-demand dynamics that will impact the trading exposures.
Assist to monitor credit limits, debtors’ aging, and late payments to suppliers/customers.
Job Requirement
Recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree with a strong interest in commodity trading, financial markets, and merchandising.
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to work with large sets of data and identify trends.
Basic understanding of the futures and derivatives market is preferable but not mandatory.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with other Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint) is a plus.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Fluent in English; additional language skills relevant to the market are advantageous.
High level of motivation, eagerness to learn, and ability to adapt quickly to new challenges.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Willingness to travel occasionally to visit suppliers, customers and operations.
