1. Project Planning & Coordination:

  • Assist the Project Manager in developing detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones.

  • Collaborate with the site supervisor and foremen to ensure that all site activities are executed efficiently.
  • Manage site logistics, including delivery of materials and ensuring appropriate storage and handling.

4. Cost Management:

  • Assist the Project Manager in managing project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and within the allocated budget.
  • Prepare progress reports and cost estimates as required.
  • Support the procurement process by helping to review bids and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Monitor material and labor costs and prepare reports on project expenses.

5. Quality Control & Assurance:

  • Ensure that construction work complies with the project’s quality standards.
  • Conduct regular quality inspections to identify any issues and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Maintain a record of non-conformances and ensure timely rectification.
  • Coordinate with the QA/QC team to ensure project deliverables meet the required standards.

6. Safety & Compliance:

  • Promote and enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations on-site.
  • Conduct safety audits and toolbox talks with site personnel.
  • Report safety incidents and ensure appropriate follow-up actions are implemented.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to construction.

7. Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, inspection reports, and material tracking.
  • Prepare and submit periodic reports to the Project Manager on project status, site conditions, and any issues affecting project delivery.
  • Ensure that all project documentation is up-to-date and filed appropriately for future reference.
  • Assist in preparing as-built drawings and documentation for project closeout.

8. Stakeholder Communication:

  • Act as a liaison between the construction team, design team, and clients to ensure clear communication.
  • Provide regular updates to clients on project progress, potential risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Facilitate project meetings with key stakeholders to address concerns and align on project goals.
