SIMULATION ENGINEER

• Develop and Maintain Simulation Models - Create accurate and efficient simulation models for die extrusion processes using specialized software.
• Process Simulation and Analysis - Perform simulations to analyze and predict outcomes of the die extrusion process, identifying potential issues and ensuring product quality.
• Quality Control Enhancement - Collaborate with the quality assurance team to enhance the quality control system, ensuring simulations help meet customer requirements.
• Improvement of Die Design - Work closely with die designers, die correctors, and technical advisors to improve existing die designs and optimize performance through simulations.
• Risk Assessment - Simulate high-risk die scenarios prior to fabrication to prevent quality issues and optimize the die extrusion process.
• Process Optimization - Advise on and improve extrusion process parameters by using simulation software, optimizing performance, and minimizing defects.
• Documentation and Reporting - Create detailed reports summarizing simulation analysis results and maintain technical documentation for future reference.
• Collaboration and Feedback - Engage with cross-functional teams to discuss problems, provide simulation-based feedback, and offer solutions for die and process improvements.
• Simulation Software Management - Manage and maintain simulation software, ensuring models and tools are up-to-date and functional for optimal performance.
• Continuous Improvement - Lead continuous improvement initiatives by identifying potential areas for process optimization through simulation insights.
• Data Analysis and Interpretation - Analyze simulation data to interpret trends, evaluate performance, and make recommendations for process enhancements.
• Simulation Model Validation - Validate simulation models against real-world results, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the simulations in guiding production decisions.
• Compliance and Safety - Ensure that all simulations and process adjustments comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations, contributing to a safe workplace.

REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field; experience with simulation software (e.g., ANSYS, AutoForm) preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in simulation and CAD software; strong understanding of die extrusion processes, particularly for aluminum.
• Experience: At least 1 year in related field.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze simulation data, troubleshoot issues, and validate models against real-world results.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and reporting findings.
• Process Improvement: Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to optimize production efficiency and quality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
