Sri Ternak Food Mart Selayang is the Headquaters to Rosyam Mart. We currently have 7 outlets in Klang Valley and we are searching for a Category Assistant Purchaser who help Purchaser Executive with a keen eye for detail to buy various goods for our company.

Currently we are looking for Category Assistant Purchaser for our Headquarters at Selayang. Their responsible is to assist Purchaser's duties include conducting market research, building a network of reliable vendors and service providers, negotiating the best contracts, inspecting deliveries, and traveling to secure deals and meet with potential clients. You should have stellar communication skills and display a high degree of cultural sensitivity to fill this role.

Job Responsibilities:

To assist Purchaser's research on potential products, vendors, and services, and comparing price and quality to ensure the best deal.
To assist Purchaser's Meeting with vendors and clients to negotiate the best contracts.
To assist Purchaser's on liaising with delivery and warehouse teams to ensure goods are received on time.
To assist Purchaser's on monitoring inventory and writing orders to refill stock.
To assist Purchaser's on attending events, shows, and exhibitions to network with vendors and view new products.
To assist Purchaser's on Inspecting purchased products upon delivery and reporting any issues timely.
To assist Purchaser's on updating all records of purchased products.
To assist Purchaser's on writing reports on purchases made and performing cost analyses.
To assist Purchaser's on attending and contributing to meetings with staff and other stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

SPM, Diploma or Degree of any related fields
Retail experience or similar is a must
Able to used Microsoft Office
Average age 20-35 years old
Strong analytical skills.
Sound research and networking skills.
Great written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and reliable, with integrity and great willingness to learn
Able to meet tight deadlines and willing to work extra hours during big campaigns
Good team player with good leadership quality and loyalty

Job Types: Full-time, New-Grad

Pay: RM1,600.00 - RM1,900.00 per month
