Position Overview

Oversee the full spectrum of finance functions for company and its subsidiaries, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and maintain effective communication with both

internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will report directly to the Finance Manager and gain valuable exposure to decades of experience in an exciting learning environment.

Job Description

- Oversee daily finance operations for company and its subsidiaries, with a focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, financing, and general ledger functions.

- Ensure compliance with MFRS and company policies and procedures. Provide administrative support to the operations team as needed.

- Supervise month-end closing activities, including reviewing journal entries and balance sheet schedules, and ensuring the completeness and reasonableness of accounts. Assist in preparing various financial reports to keep management and the group updated on company performance for the period.

- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization, actively participating in initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of operational finance processes and procedures.

- Take charge of audit, tax, secretarial, and treasury-related matters, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and timely submission of reports.

- Undertake additional projects and ad-hoc assignments as directed by the supervisor.

- Support CSR events and participate in employee engagement activities.

Job Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or any other professionally recognized qualification.

- A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience from a Big 4 audit firm, preferably in the healthcare industry, is preferred.

- Moderate traveling required.

- Willingness to work extra hours as needed is expected.

- Willingness to support financial closing during weekends or public holidays, as needed, is expected.

- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with demonstrated experience in managing and overseeing financial management.

- Exceptional communication, management, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are necessary, along with unwavering commitment, meticulous attention to detail, and a collaborative team player mindset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
