Job Purpose

Deliver front-end support by setting up, maintaining, and supporting users' IT, communication, and audiovisual systems, managing user accounts and asset inventories, overseeing procurement of IT hardware and software such as desktops, notebooks, printers, and office tools, and maintaining all related documentation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Follow and improve support process as per IT Operating System or standard operating procedures.
  • Respond within agreed time frame as per specified service level agreement.
  • Setup, support and maintain user desktop and notebook computers hardware, operating systems, printers, communication (video conferencing and desk phones), audio visual equipment (projector and screens), productivity software and client applications (Microsoft Office, antivirus, ERP clients etc.) as well their network connectivity.
  • Maintain related asset inventory list, service request documentations and produce reports as and when required.
  • Procure computers and related IT equipment as per procurement process which involves obtaining quotations, creating purchase requests and doing the payment advises.
  • Create and manage user accounts, profiles and file systems.
  • Establish a good working relationship with users.
  • Test and evaluate new technology.
  • Provide end user training.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Certificate in IT or related discipline.
  • 1–5 years of experience in IT support or similar tasks.
  • Any IT technical support related certification is a plus.
  • Possess good knowledge and/or experience in computer and end-user devices, which includes Windows and Mac OS-based desktops, notebooks, tablets, and mobile phones.
  • Possess good knowledge and/or experience in user productivity tools such as Microsoft Office, Office 365 clients, client server applications, and PC-based software.
  • Possess basic knowledge in networking, which includes network connectivity and internetworking.
  • Possess basic knowledge in server systems, which includes Windows domain infrastructure, user account management, and file system permissions.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Able to speak and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Must be well organized and possess good attitude towards achieving the goals.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and possess self-learning capabilities.
  • Understand the concept of IT services management.
