As a Leasing Executive, you will be based at Kepong, KL and responsible for managing day-to-day relationships with partners and tenants, including addressing operational issues and supporting tenant management activities. You will assist the Leasing Manager in securing and monitoring the occupancy of the company’s properties while ensuring smooth mall operations. The role also requires maintaining updated records and coordinating with other departments to improve tenant performance and leasing operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with partners and tenants, addressing operational issues as they arise.
  • Assist and support the Leasing Manager with leasing-related activities to secure and monitor occupancy across the company’s properties.
  • Ensure the smooth operation and sustainability of mall activities.
  • Oversee tenant sales submissions, ensuring an average of 95% compliance, and update systems accordingly.
  • Maintain a comprehensive, updated Tenant Relations Management database and filing system, including sales information, licenses, permits, insurance, agreements, and correspondence.
  • Coordinate, prepare, and distribute work orders to relevant departments.
  • Report, monitor, and follow up on tenant complaints, ensuring resolution with the relevant departments.
  • Support Operations by recommending appropriate approaches when tenants do not adhere to mall House Rules, Agreements, or other required manuals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve tenant performance, tenancy, and leasing operations.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders to retain existing tenants and attract new prospects for occupancy growth.
  • Coordinate with Tenant Admin on document tracking and signature status.
  • Handle approval processes for closure applications (e.g., Festival closure, early closure for company events).
  • Manage mailbox key coordination, including new handovers and replacement keys or locks.
  • Prepare required documentation and information for Tenant meetings.

Qualifications & Experiences Needed

  • Certificate or Diploma in Real Estate, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in shopping center management, leasing, or tenant coordination.
  • Experience in property or real estate sectors is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle difficult situations effectively.
  • Sound knowledge of the retail market.
  • Knowledge of strata property management is an added advantage.
  • A team player with a meticulous, customer-oriented approach and strong management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
