Job Overview
The Production Supervisor is accountable to organise production / assembly full time with on time deliveries for standardisation method of assembly/manufacturing, personnel management, achievement of assessment indicators, and daily management of the assigned team.
Responsibilities and Duties
- As an automation Production Supervisor for Production Assembly, you will be responsible for leading teams in organising/ managing / executing automated material handling system (AMHS).
- Develops and executes production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource allocation – Managing Expectations!
- This position is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and controlling all aspects of the production operation to ensure compliance with company goals and objectives.
- This position ensures that the plant is operating in compliance with all regulatory and company policies, procedures and regulations.
- You must have adequate knowledge of know-how on Mechanical & Electrical assembling method using appropriate tools, able to interpret & articulate component/assembly drawings
- You will be responsible for evaluating business cases, securing funding approvals, collaborating with engineers to integrate AMHS products cycle line layouts, and collaborating with material procurement for production assemblies to ensure effective planning.
- You will work with a diverse and highly capable team that engages with multiple key organizations to co-develop & deliver new automation solutions including but not limited to assembling work instructions / procedures and best-known method
- Completed other tasks assigned by leaders.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in automation or material handling systems.
- Experience leading a team of engineers through the development and implementation of a program/project
- Working experience in the Semiconductor Automation environment will be preferred.
- Experience with on-site troubleshooting and fault investigation.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, factory/equipment automation and quality control standards.
- Willingness to travel globally as and when is required.
- Ability to work on site independently and as a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office & CAD drawings will be added advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
