Assistant Operations Manager supports the Operations Manager in overseeing business operations to ensure productivity, efficiency, and profitability. This role involves assisting in strategic planning, managing workflow, supervising employees, and ensuring that company policies and procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Support:

- Assist in managing day-to-day operations and ensuring smooth workflows.

- Help develop and implement operational policies and procedures.

- Support the Operations Manager in analyzing data and reporting on performance metrics.

2. Staff Supervision:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members.

- Assist with hiring, training, and evaluating employees.

- Address performance issues and provide feedback to staff.

3. Process Improvement:

- Identify areas of improvement within the operational process.

- Work with the Operations Manager to design and implement process improvements.

- Monitor operational processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.

4. Customer and Vendor Relations:

- Assist in managing relationships with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders.

- Help resolve issues and maintain high service standards.

5. Inventory and Supply Chain Management:

- Support the monitoring of inventory levels and coordinate with procurement teams.

- Ensure efficient supply chain operations and timely delivery of products or services.

6. Health & Safety Compliance:

- Ensure that operations in compliance with health and safety regulations.

- Assist in training staff on safety procedures and promoting a safe work environment.

7. Problem Solving:

- Provide solutions to operational issues and assist with emergency responses.

- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to address any operational challenges.

8. Material Planning & Delivery

- Plan material base on forecast provided by customer

- On time delivery

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field.

- Minimum experience 2 years.

- Proven experience in an operations role, preferably in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operations management software.

- Knowledge of relevant regulations and quality standards.
