Job Summary: Putra Food Industries is seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the development of new products, conducting product demonstrations for clients, providing training on our products both to clients and at our restaurant. Additionally, this role involves performing audits at our restaurant and supporting sales efforts during client visits.

Responsibilities:

Product Development:

  • Create and develop new products that align with the company's brand and meet market demand.
  • Innovate and refine existing recipes to enhance product offerings.

Client Demonstrations:

  • Conduct product demonstrations for potential clients to showcase the quality and versatility of our offerings.
  • Provide hands-on cooking demonstrations to highlight the unique features of our products.

Training:

  • Train clients on the proper use and handling of our products to ensure optimal performance and satisfaction.
  • Conduct training sessions at our restaurant to enhance the skills of our kitchen staff and ensure consistency in food preparation.

Audits:

  • Perform regular audits at our restaurant to ensure compliance with food safety standards, quality control, and operational efficiency.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.

Sales Support:

  • Collaborate with the sales team during client visits to provide culinary expertise and support.
  • Assist in presenting our products to clients, addressing any culinary questions or concerns.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef in a similar role.
  • Strong culinary skills with a passion for innovation and creativity in the kitchen.
  • Excellent presentation and demonstration skills.
  • Effective training and communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct audits and provide constructive feedback.
  • Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Flexibility to travel for client visits and training sessions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
