Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced candidate with a strong background and proven success in overseeing and expanding our licensing operations in the APAC markets. Candidates who have a passion for licensing and a proactive to-do spirit will be key requirements for success in this role. You must be committed to driving innovation and excellence while delivering on revenue targets. You will play a key role in developing and implementing strategies to maximize the value of our IP through licensing agreements.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and implement licensing strategies that align with the company's overall business goals in the APAC (mainly Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan) market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including licensees and potential brand partners to drive collaboration and maximize licensing revenue.
  • Work closely with internal cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative, and product development to ensure alignment on licensing initiatives and product launches.
  • Lead negotiations for licensing agreements, ensuring favorable terms that protect the company’s revenue goal while fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing agreements and local regulations, conducting regular audits and assessments.
  • Monitor and report on licensing performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in licensing management, particularly in the APAC market. This includes a track record of identifying, negotiating, and closing licensing deals that have generated revenue and increased brand value.
  • Strong business development skills are essential, including the ability to identify new opportunities, build relationships with potential partners, and effectively communicate the value of our intellectual property assets.
  • Possess excellent negotiation skills and the ability to develop mutually beneficial agreements. Practical written and verbal communication skills are essential for building and maintaining successful licensing partnerships.
  • Embrace a strategic mindset and the ability to think creatively to identify innovative licensing opportunities and develop long-term licensing strategies.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented, proven to meet or exceed targets and drive revenue growth through successful IP licensing initiatives.
