Regional Sales Manager

Job Description

To perform sales, technical support, and marketing of Lincat products to key chained accounts, end users, hotel operators, kitchen consultants, contractors etc. in Asia Pacific. As a Sales Manager, you must be a top-level Sales expert on related products and applications. You must be a salesman, a presenter, a project coordinator, and an advisor. The position requires travels up to 70%.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyses customer needs and industry trends to determine the appropriate products recommending both feature and price;
• Work with Middleby Asia Sales team to develop sales strategies, market and business networks with end-users, dealers and kitchen consultants to facilitate sales growth;
• Liaise with factories, dealers and contractors to work out the best solutions to customers;
• Facilitate end-users and kitchen consultants to evaluate the technical aspects of product;
• Thorough understanding of the product line, product functions, features and applications;
• Developing a working knowledge of competitive products and related technologies.
• Deliver set budget and sales targets for APAC region

Role Requirements:

• Must have hunter mentality, focused and proven track record of winning new business and accounts
• Be able to identify market trends within the region, and with with Marketing and Export team to suggest and implement marketing strategies to drive growth and engagement.
• To assist in training sales force for selling of products and it’s value proposition into the new market. Also to provide technical training to the end user and dealer/distributor.
• Experienced in foodservice equipment industry in Asia. Chef experience is a plus;
• Experienced in key account management in a customer-friendly and self-responsible manner;
• Strong business / marketing sense and motivated to achieve sales targets;
• Willing to travel frequently to Singapore and within Asia;
• Strong organizational skills, able to arrange own meetings and travel plans to maximise efficiency;
• Eager to succeed, flexible and mobile with good communication and negotiation skills;
• Fluent in English & Mandarin is a requirement
• Must be experienced with Microsoft Office applications

Offer

We offer an attractive remuneration package to the right candidate including salary, expenses and yearly bonus (conditional on hitting sales targets). Minimum target hit for the year would give 56,000 MYR. This is an uncapped bonus

Employment offer is to be paid as a monthly retainer, with expenses covered per month for hotel/travel/meals.
