Warehouse Assistant

Responsibilities

• Compile daily approved Sales Orders (SO) based on Expected Delivery Dates (ETD), process Delivery Orders (DO), and ensure all necessary documents, including the Certificate of Analysis (COA), are ready for attachment with the expected delivery documentation.
• Maintain organised filing systems for COAs, DOs, and other sales documentation, whether in physical form or as electronic worksheet files. Prepare daily DOs as per ETD and ensure completeness.
• Coordinate transporter order bookings, manage load demands, and consistently follow up on transporter schedules. Ensure transporters are promptly informed of daily delivery needs as per the agreed cut-off time.
• Analysing customer orders and gaining a comprehensive understanding of the items needed, the quantity required, and any specific instructions or deadlines associated with each order. Attention to details of primary inventory management principles of First-Expiry-First-Out (FEFO) and First-In-First-Out (FIFO).
• Prioritise order fulfilment based on urgency or other relevant factors and any specific instructions or any mentioned Estimated Time of Arrival (ETD) or ETD associated with each order.
• Generate the SAP DO based on the confirmed load for the transporter and ensure customer documentation is completed.
• Timely posting of Goods Issues into the SAP System once delivery orders are completed, ensuring completeness.
• Contribute to company initiatives and support to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 37001 and FSSC 22000.

Requirements

• Candidates with a Diploma in Logistics and Warehousing Management or equivalent are preferred.
• At least 2 years of related industry experience.
• Strong SAP knowledge in warehouse management would be beneficial.
• Candidates must have a good understanding of warehouse execution, custom regulations as well as import and export processes.
• Required skill(s): communication and interpersonal skills, teamwork, organisation and multitasking skills, adaptability and learning mentality.
• Candidates must be good at using Microsoft Office applications. Those with good spoken and written English will have an added advantage.
