Finance R2R Process Team Lead

This = the job you are looking for:

• You also ensure timely, accurate and completeness in recording, collection and processing of all general accounting transactions, including fixed assets, intercompany accounts and tax transactions.
• You also perform a quality review to ensure that financial entries are authorized, accounts are reconciled, and processes are compliant with company policies, accounting regulations and risk control requirements. Moreover, you ensure delivery of timely and accurate reports and schedules to Corporate and Business Groups per Corporate’s monthly, quarterly and annual timelines.
• You also perform an analytical review of profit and loss accounts and balance sheet, trend analysis, and cost center checks, risk assessments and compliance testing for the General Accounting function. You are responsible for treasury involving bank account management and cash flow projection for APAC region and also manage statutory and tax reporting and ensure compliance with all tax and statutory returns, including assisting in the preparation of annual corporation tax returns.
• As team lead, you are responsible to explore and drive continuous process improvement opportunities to improve standardization, simplification and automation. You will be involved in ad-hoc assignment especially in other process areas including global shared service projects.

This = What you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting / finance or equivalent.
• At least 8-10 years working experience in accounting related work, with experience in managing people.
• Experience in handling general accounting/financial reporting of countries within Asia Pacific or other regions will be an added advantage
• Possess good understanding of accounting processes, standards and principles
• Possess analytical skills and problem solving skills.
• Able to manage multiple/conflicting priorities with a strong track record of delivery against tight deadlines
• A meticulous and organized person with a sharp eye for detail and accuracy
• Familiar with computer application especially MS Excel, ERP or relevant financial software.
• A self-starter and good team player
• Good communications and interpersonal skills
