Description


Primary Objective:
  • Ensure prudent, effective and efficient operational support in trustees to support the business growth in the relevant entities.
  • Ensure prudent and efficient corporate governance and risk management in trustees’ operations.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Perform Will drafting role, including ensuring sufficient information / documents received from client before commencement of Will drafting

  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of services to the client(s)

  • Ensure all documents are filed and safe kept in an organized and timely manner

  • Ensure the safe custody of Wills and perform annual reconciliation for all Wills under our custody

  • Contribute to process automation and system enhancement with clearly and properly documented user requirements and system specifications, comprehensive and properly documented and signed off User Acceptance Tests (UAT).

  • Maintain good relationship with all stakeholders in supporting the business units including but not limited to clients/ business partners, regulators, solicitors, financial institutions, and other related parties.

  • Closely engage with superiors and promptly report and update on any irregularities, complaints, compliments, improvement actions/ projects initiated and completed etc, and submit timely periodical and/or ad-hoc reports and/or assignments required.

  • Involve in Cross Training initiatives within Trustees Operations

  • Provide coverage in the absence of peer(s) within Trustees Operations as and when necessary.

  • Any other tasks assigned by the Management from time to time.

Requirements

Requirements:

Degree/Diploma -

  • Degree/Diploma in Law or other related fields
  • Pleasant personality with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work independently
  • Able to work well in a team.

  • 0-3 years of working experience in Legal firm or Trustees Companies

  • Working experience in the capital market industry is an added advantage.

  • Experience in corporate exercises / Private Trust / Will Drafting is an added advantage.
