Production Engineer (Coating Mfg / Klang)

• Supervise staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, compensation recommendations, and disciplinary actions.
• Oversee batch processes for a specific product line, ensuring adequate resources, addressing staff concerns, and monitoring safety and quality during production.
• Review and analyze operational reports to improve quality, efficiency, and cycle times; implement changes as needed.
• Develop and enforce operating policies and procedures to optimize resource use, ensure safety, and maintain product quality.
• Ensure compliance with production schedules, safety targets, quality standards, and efficiency metrics.
• Collaborate with other supervisors and management to address production quality, safety, and operational issues.
• Coordinate plant operations, including shipping, scheduling, inventory management, and sales, through report review and operational oversight.
• Read batch tickets, verify correct containers, and load finished goods according to specifications.
• Monitor batch processing equipment and schedules to ensure products are filled correctly.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Diploma, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Salary range: RM 2500 - RM 3500.
• Experience with EBS (Oracle, SAP, etc.) systems.
• Must be willing to work in Klang.
