Position Overview:

  • The Compliance Executive will be responsible for overseeing and enforcing compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal policies. This role involves monitoring compliance issues, conducting audits, and implementing procedures to ensure adherence to industry regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or Environmental with competency certification (e.g., Safety & Health Officer, CePSWaM, ISO45001) preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a compliance or regulatory role, preferably within manufacturing industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulations and make practical recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present information and interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in compliance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Responsibility:

  • Develop, implement, and manage compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor changes in relevant legislation and regulations, and assess their impact on the company.
  • Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare and present compliance reports and recommendations to senior management.
  • Provide training and support to employees including our subsidiary companies on compliance-related matters and ensure understanding of policies.
  • Act as a point of contact for regulatory agencies and external auditors.
  • Investigate and resolve compliance issues and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and documentation.
