Job Description: Instruments Customer & Business Support Engineer
Position Overview: The Instruments Customer & Business Support Engineer is responsible for providing installation and technical support for EssilorLuxottica's instrument products. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities, in-depth product knowledge, and excellent communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction and drive business growth.

Areas of Responsibility:
Customer Support:
Provide installation and technical support for instrument products.
Ensure issues are resolved efficiently to maximize customer satisfaction.
Deliver troubleshooting solutions and follow-up services.

Sales Support
Assist the sales team with product expertise and technical knowledge.
Participate in customer presentations to support product sales.
Provide input for the development of customer-facing materials.

Product Feedback:
Gather customer feedback and relay it to the product development team.
Collaborate to ensure continuous product improvement based on real-world usage.

Network of Interaction:
Internal: Commercial Team, Sales Team, Product Development Team
External: Customers, End-Users

Technical Skills and Candidate Requirements:

Educational Background:
Degree in Engineering, Electronics, or related field.

Experience:
1-3 years of experience in technical support, preferably in the ophthalmic or medical devices industry.

Problem-Solving Abilities:
Strong troubleshooting and issue-resolution skills.

Technical Knowledge:
Solid understanding of medical instruments used in the medical and optical industries.
Proficiency in the calibration and maintenance of medical instruments.
Ability to interpret technical diagrams and manuals.

Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service abilities to build and maintain relationships.

We are a manufacturer with laboratory that produce medical and vision related lenses, eye testing equipment and personal protective equipment to correct vision impairment. We have permitted chemical and items in the laboratory as well to produce mass eye protective and corrective lenses to local market. Patient with eyesight issues will require the products to correct their eye sight. We supply our medical vision related products to hospitals, optometry institutions (UKM,USM etc), ophthalmologist clinics, optical shops and eye sight testing centers.
