Description

1. To assist in the supervision of and in maintaining an efficient and effective team / department, understanding guest needs and requirements, working to exceed these wherever possible.
2. Assist with supervision of employees in compliance to Health & Safety Policy within the team, championing ‘best practice’ and providing assistance/ advise where required.
3. Assist with management of stock, wastage and sales figures, assist with forecasts, budgets and work to targets. Assist with production of reports for Management as required.
4. Ensure hotel standards of cleanliness and set up of function space for the banquet and event areas are executed with the highest level of proficiency
5. Provide courteous service to the guest and respond promptly and tactfully to the guest inquires, complaints and request. Give guest immediate and complete attention to their request and complaints. Make sure the guests are satisfied with the service before they leave the outlet.
6. Permanent training on the job for the staff ensuring that the correct methods of service are maintained.
7. Staff groom and punctuality
8. Report and Responsible for the maintenance of all operating ware/equipment
9. Actively participate in daily briefings and BEO meetings
10. Perform any other job-related tasks as assigned by the Superior and Head of Department
