WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will be based in Pusat Rehabilitasi PERKESO Tun Abdul Razak, Melaka. Working closely with F&B Team

WHAT YOU’LL DO
1. Prepare, Cook, and Present High-Quality Meals:
• Ensure all dishes are prepared to a high standard while adhering to the dietary guidelines set for patients and staff. This includes making adjustments for special dietary requirements.
2. Oversee and Manage a Section of the Kitchen:
• Take responsibility for a specific area in the kitchen, ensuring that it runs efficiently and that all food is prepared according to the chef’s standards.
3. Assist in Menu Planning:
• Contribute to the development of menus, including creating options for patients with specific dietary needs, ensuring that meals are nutritious and varied.
4. Supervise and Mentor Junior Staff:
• Provide guidance, training, and support to Commis 2 and Commis 3, helping them to improve their skills and knowledge.
5. Ensure Compliance with Health, Safety, and Hygiene Regulations:
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen, ensuring that all food handling practices comply with regulations.
6. Assist in Inventory Management:
• Help manage kitchen supplies, including ordering ingredients, checking deliveries, and ensuring that stock is rotated and stored correctly.
7. Participate in Training Programs:
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with culinary trends and techniques, and share this knowledge with the team.
8. Coordinate with Other Departments During Events:
• Work closely with event coordinators and other departments to ensure that food service during events is smooth and meets the needs of all guests.
9. Other Duties as Assigned:
• Perform any other duty as deemed necessary by the employer to support the organization’s goals and objectives.

REQUIRED QUALITIES:
Possess at least Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) qualification
Good Interpersonal, Good communication skill, Computer Literate.
Have license at least D.
Good in Malay and English both written and spoken.
Strong team player.
