A day in life…

Brand Management

  • Develop comprehensive brand communications strategies and plans to achieve brand goals and manage the executions accordingly.
  • Lead the conceptualization, planning and implementation of brand initiatives.
  • Strategically support the business goals via brand communications strategies and plans, both long-term and short-term.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, external vendors, agencies, & partners to drive campaign implementation effectively.

Brand Experience

  • Ensure all internal, external and online brand touchpoints are on-brand at all times.
  • Find opportunities to improve the quality of customers’ experience and interaction with the brand inside and outside of restaurants.

Communications Management

  • Lead the internal team and agency partners in developing an impactful and holistic communications plan.
  • Oversee the development of clear and compelling messaging for the brand.
  • Coordinate internal and external communications to ensure a unified brand voice across all initiatives and platforms.
  • Collaborate with designers, writers, and agencies to create engaging materials.
  • Establish clear and measurable outcomes for campaigns and key brand initiatives.

Advertising Management

  • Develop comprehensive advertising strategies and plan to achieve brand and campaign objectives.
  • Manage media budget and work with media agencies to ensure media budgets are allocated effectively across different channels to achieve maximum ROI.
  • Establish clear advertising effectiveness goals, develop measurement strategies, and conduct thorough analysis to provide insightful reports on campaign performance.

Social Media Management

  • Develop social marketing strategies & plans that are aligned with the broader brand and marketing communication strategies.
  • Work closely with agency partners to develop consumer insights-driven, high-quality, on-brand social content.
  • Monitor social media marketing trends and identify gaps and opportunities for the brand.

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor campaign results & effectiveness, and prepare post-campaign reports and identify learnings for future planning.
  • Monitor the performance of digital assets and prepare regular reporting & analysis.

Market Insights Development

  • Develop consumer insights through formal & informal research, dip stick survey, consumer feedback & interactions; and/or obtain information from free source
  • Develop insights about competitor communication activities and identify opportunities.

Team Management

  • Lead and inspire internal team and agency partners to achieve the brand goal.

Brand Download

  • Conduct effective Brand Training for all new and existing staff when required.
  • Develop tools and materials to support the brand understanding at all levels of organizations as well as external partners & agencies.

Drive Internal Brand and Nando’s Culture:

  • Be a key brand ambassador in the company – a showcase of the company culture at all levels.
  • Work with the Engagement team to develop programs/communications which drive the culture of Nando’s.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in brand and marketing roles, with a strong emphasis on digital marketing.
  • Proven track record in developing marketing strategies and brand plans.
  • Extensive experience in managing advertising processes, including agencies, creative work, and media schedules.
  • Great attention to detail with a keen curiosity about human or consumer behavior, ensuring campaigns are finely tailored to target audiences.
  • Possess strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to inspire and guide teams effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written English.
  • Highly organized with exceptional time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
