We will count on you to:

  • Participate in the revenue/budget process with the management team, providing insights and recommendations to drive revenue growth.
  • Oversee responses to client queries and concerns, ensuring that issues are resolved completely and promptly, and maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Manage overall interaction with clients in medium to large client transactions, building strong and lasting relationships.
  • Utilize knowledge of client industry to analyze risk reports and develop innovative approaches to address difficult client needs, effectively articulating the value of our services.
  • Contribute to the firm's body of knowledge through active internal communication, sharing insights and best practices with colleagues to enhance client service delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with insurers/reinsurers, clients, colleagues, and Marsh specialists from other areas of the firm to deliver highly complex, best-in-class solutions to clients.
  • Demonstrate a near complete understanding of coverage lines, markets, and other specialized products, staying updated on changing risk and insurance market conditions to better serve clients.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and emerging risks to provide proactive advice and guidance to clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to identify new business opportunities and contribute to the development of client acquisition strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, showcasing our expertise and value proposition.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and identify areas for improvement, implementing strategies to enhance client experience and loyalty.

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • 15 -20 years related experience with the ability to deal with moderately complex accounts and mid-sized generating clients from diverse industries.
  • Good knowledge of the treaty reinsurance business
  • Interpersonal skills for establishing and maintaining good client, reinsurer and internal relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills for complex communications (presentations, negotiations, etc.) with clients, markets and GC colleagues at many levels.
  • Ability to prioritize workload according to volume, urgency, etc.
  • Creativity to solve new problems, as they arise.
  • Understanding of clients' business.
  • Strong ability to work as part of a team to support clients' needs.
