JOB Description
- To maintain and upkeep vessel on standby and doing lay-up at whaft in Miri.
- To make report, feed backs to OM on urgent important matter concerning ship condition and related information from time to time.
- To liaise with 3rd party for on/off hire bunker survey.
- To prepare for closed out punch-list after inspection.
- To follow up with masters or chief engineer to submit all required documents to office.
- To liaise with agents at ports of call on the vessel status.
- To prepare Daily Vessel Movement Report and circulate it to other department.
- To keep track on all the vessel’s statutory certificates and keep them current and on annual survey with class and marine.
- To check, verify and supervise requisitions from vessels against physical condition in the vessel.
- To accompany surveyor inspection of vessel or barges as per instruction.
- To arrange for towing of the barges.
- To inspect vessel at port and issue defect list for repaired.
- To perform any other works assigned by the Management from time to time.
JOB REQUIREMENT
• At least 2 years working experience in marine offshore vessel operations.
• Attended required offshore courses and offshore safety training.
• Familiar and conversion with ISM & ISPS code requirement, compliance with SOLAS & MARPOL etc.
• Carry out planned survey onboard vessel, conduct site inspection, to highlight necessary maintenance and repair (when necessary) and to follow safe work practices.
• Must be computer literate.
